It is now mandatory to provide photographic identification when ordering ammonium nitrate (AN) fertiliser – without ID in place the transaction will not progress. Farmers purchasing AN fertiliser containing 16% nitrogen and above must prove their identity with photo ID – e.g driving licence or passport
Any compound fertiliser’s containing 16% nitrogen and calcium ammonium (CAN) – will also require photo ID.
Our suppliers have made this possible with a simple and secure portal on their website or via e-mail submission. It only needs to be fulfilled every 18 months and not when every transaction is made.
