We were delighted to help with some prizes for our local Young Farmers Ploughing Match on Sunday. They had 51 ploughs competing, with the competitors spanning at least 3 generations. The youngest competitor was the son of one of our members at age of 13! He has been waiting for his first ploughing match for quite a few years and he was delighted to be placed in his class too.
It was a delight to see the next generation coming through keen to carry on the farming tradition’s. A fabulous day for the farming community and a great fundraiser for the club too.
