Don’t we all know just how sensitive our industry is to the weather?
A good job that we specialise in grit and determination and ‘the show must go on’ attitude. Our members are preparing for spring drilling and are stealing every passable opportunity to get drilling in 2019.
However, what prompted me to write this little article is the fact we are hearing stories of farmers offering and helping each other out! In times of pressure and stress, to hear these stories is heart-warming and truly commendable.
Along with hearing of the Young Farmers and Forage Aid efforts in the Doncaster Area, we really are a community that is willing to pull together in the worst of situations.
A little cheer to brighten the weather.
